The parameters include:
o Projects implemented may include but shall not be limited to Health, Mobility, Infrastructure development, Water conservation, Waste management, Decreasing carbon footprints, Green Projects, etc.

This category invites nominations from city municipalities, associations, organizations, companies, PSU's, etc., to build a clean and green environment. The parameters include the following:
o Details of the project: Number of projects implemented/executed, location, size, timeline, the investment involved, planning, etc.
o Impact: Target Vs achieved, progress, etc.
o Technologies adopted: Clean technologies (e.g., alternates fuels in public transport), reduction in carbon levels or low pollution (air, noise, water, no use of plastics, etc.), reduction of waste generation, practicing reduce, recycle and re-use.
o Sustainable infrastructure: Adoption and promotion of renewable energy, solar rooftops, etc.
Safe City comprises the idea of a city that uses technology to prevent crimes and provide an environment where people could feel safe and secure. Inviting applications from associations, government organizations, and private entities, who have executed projects by adopting the latest technologies to prevent crimes and unforeseen circumstances in the city:

This award is for the CEO of Smart City SPE's who have contributed to the Smart City domain in a significant manner.
The award focuses on the best smart water and waste management efforts by smart city SPVs/organizations, private companies, associations, etc. The award category aims to recognize projects and initiatives undertaken by companies, individuals and organizations, to build sustainable water projects to conserve water resources, provide safe and clean drinking water, community-owned water projects, etc. The initiatives shall include the following:
o 24x7 water supply
o 100 percent access to water
o Industrial water management: Nil effluent by treatment for re-use
o Providing safe and clean drinking water
o Use of technology and equipment
o Water management and treatment
o Wastewater management: Re-cycling & re-use

Inviting nominations from the SPVs, private companies, service providers, and consultancies, who have actively participated in the city's social and economic growth in the fields of education, culture/art, and heritage, rural employment, tourism, etc. Those who have created and used open spaces, libraries, parks, and theatres, etc. to be useful and for the betterment of the citizens.
The award focuses on the best smart city initiatives taken by smart city SPVs to recognize the city project that integrates up-gradation and innovation for sustainable economic growth from, but not limited to, the following sectors: (A participating city has to cover or achieve minimum 5 parameters from below the points).
